How to turn on your Brushlink?

  1. Press the blue button to activate your device and connect it to the Brushlink app.
  2. Ensure the app is open on your smartphone and Bluetooth is turned on to allow the app to automatically connect to your device.

How to turn off your Brushlink?

  1. Push the blue button again once you have finished.
  2. Place your toothbrush down and Brushlink will automatically switch-off after 15 seconds.

Replacing the batteries

  1. Remove the lower blue-coloured casing.

  2. Insert the two new SR44 or LR44 batteries. Ensure that the batteries have been inserted as per the image below:

  3. Place the white-coloured upper casing on top of the lower casing to close the device.

Do you have the latest version of the app?

  1. Check your app store to see if any updates have been missed.
  2. Install the latest update of the Brushlink app.

Android:

Brushlink supports Android 4.3.1 or later.

IOS:

Brushlink supports iOS 11.0 or later.

Is your device attached correctly?

  1. Ensure you have attached the right sized band provided.
  2. Device must be secured tightly to your brush.
  3. Align Brushlink on the back of the toothbrush handle, with the light facing up.

Which size band do you use and how do you attach it correctly?

  1. Wrap the silicon band around the toothbrush handle to secure the Brushlink into place.
  2. Manual toothbrushes use the small or medium size blue band. Electric toothbrushes use the medium, large or X-large.

Is your device not connecting to the app?

  1. Do not connect your device through the phone’s Bluetooth system settings.
  2. First turn on your device and then open the app. The app will prompt for Bluetooth connection.
  3. You can also pair your device by opening the app, select Profile and click ‘Pair new device’.

Bluetooth Issues

Android:

  1. Restart phone/tablet.
  2. Restart Brushlink app completely.
  3. Restart Bluetooth (Settings app > Bluetooth > Switch Bluetooth off and on).
  4. Try connecting again.

IOS:

  1. Restart phone/tablet.

How to reset your device

If you are having trouble connecting your device (light stays green and does not turn blue) then you may need to reset your device.

  1. Remove the blue, rubber casing from the back of your device
  2. Remove the batteries for a full 10 seconds.
  3. Re-insert the batteries and then switch on the device and connect via Bluetooth through the Brushlink App.
